My name is Meghan and I’m a 29 year old Florida native. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart since December 2016. We have had 4 babies together. We get to care for 2 of them here on earth.
I am an elementary school teacher and am currently teaching 4th grade. Life is very busy at the moment navigating teaching, motherhood and serving at our local church.
On July 4, 2019 at 4:17pm, I gave birth to the most beautiful little boy in the world named Levi Harrison Barron. He was only here for a couple hours, but thankfully we got to hold and love our little boy in the short time he was here. Being pregnant and giving birth to him was a life changing time for my husband and I. We have learned and still have so much to learn from this experience. Despite the outcome not being what we had prayed for, God felt so present through the entire experience.
In December of 2020, we welcomed our miracle baby boy.
In October of 2021, we found out that we had miscarried our 3rd child after 16 weeks, but shortly after, got pregnant again with our second rainbow baby, a girl born in August 2022.
We are so thankful!
From the time I started this blog in 2016, I have leaned on Proverbs 3:5-6:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
I have rewrote this “about me” section numerous times and it’s amazing how much more I’ve had depend on this verse. I feel like as I grow, I realize how little I actually understand and how much I need to submit to Him.
There are still so many unknowns, questions and things that make no sense to me. This verse encourages me to know that it doesn’t matter if I understand. I’m not the one in control and that’s a good thing.
I hope when you come here, you find encouragement as I share my heart and what God is teaching me. I have so much to learn from Him.
